Las Vegas Taxi Hold-Up!
You've arrived at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, NV and you need to get to your hotel on the strip. If you're not fortunate enough to be met by the hotel limousine, you do the next best thing; you grab a taxi. But here's a tip: Tell your driver to avoid the tunnel, and to take Paradise Road instead. This will save you about $10 (if you're staying at the South End... MGM, Tropicana, Mandalay Bay etc) to $20 (if you're staying at the North End... Stratosphere, Venetian, Palazzo, etc).
